SALISBURY, Md., April 4, 2018 – Pemberton Manor Apartments in Salisbury recently hosted a youth “Paint Night” in its community room. Aimed at promoting self-esteem and creativity, the event featured local artist Tierra Brickous teaching the children how to create personalized vision boards with the use of paints and magazine clippings. More than a dozen children joined in the fun-filled evening. The young artists are pictured here with their creations.

In addition to hosting events like the paint night, Pemberton Manor recently established a year-long initiative with the non-profit Extraordinary League of Gentleman focused on promoting healthy, active lifestyles among the community’s youth. In addition, Pemberton Manor hosts weekly etiquette and interpersonal communication training in conjunction with the Wicomico County Health Department.

Pemberton Manor is owned and operated by affiliates of Tryko Partners, a private equity investment group based in Brick, N.J. The company purchased Pemberton Manor in 2011 and has since completed a $1 million property renovation. Located on 60 acres at 1020 Fairground Drive, Pemberton Manor features 209 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, which include both market-rate and HUD affordable housing units.
